Junk Removal in Ocala, FL

Junk removal is the service for people who would rather not do the lifting. Our crew arrives with the truck, you point at what goes, and we load it, haul it and dispose of it properly: furniture, mattresses, appliances, exercise equipment, garage and shed junk, the contents of a rental or a whole house. You get one price on site before we start, and most jobs are done the same day you call.
We do junk removal across unincorporated Marion County, which is where most “Ocala” addresses actually are: Silver Springs Shores, Marion Oaks, Summerfield, Silver Springs, Ocklawaha, Anthony, Citra and Fort McCoy. Inside Ocala city limits the City collects all solid waste except construction and demolition debris and recyclables, so household junk there is the City’s to collect; call Ocala Sanitation (residential 352-351-6697).
Furniture, sofas, mattresses and box springs, appliances, exercise equipment, carpet, fencing, sheds we have taken down, and the general contents of a garage, attic, storage unit or house. Appliances go to metal recycling rather than a landfill, because Florida law keeps “white goods” such as refrigerators, ranges, water heaters and air conditioners out of landfills. We sort reusable items out on the way, so good furniture does not get thrown away if there is a better home for it.
Whole-house and estate cleanouts are our most common junk-removal job. We walk the property with you, agree what stays, and clear the rest room by room: house, garage, shed and lanai. For a landlord or property manager we can turn a unit around in a day. For a family dealing with an estate, we work at your pace and set aside anything you want to keep. In Citra, Fort McCoy and the other rural communities north of Ocala, that often includes a mobile home and its outbuildings.
It matters, and the mailing address does not tell you. Silver Springs Shores (34472) and Marion Oaks (34473, 34476) use Ocala addresses but are unincorporated parts of Marion County, and we do junk removal there. If you are inside city limits, the City’s Sanitation service handles household junk, and we can still help with renovation and demolition debris in a construction container. Give us the address and we will tell you which applies.
If you have a week and a driveway, a dumpster is usually cheaper: you do the loading, we do the hauling. If you want it done in an afternoon, cannot lift the heavy pieces, or have nowhere to put a container, junk removal is the answer. Call (352) 644-8330 and we will tell you which suits the job.
- 10 Yard Dumpster (12′ L × 8′ W × 3.5′ H, 1 to 2 tons included): the small-cleanout alternative if you would rather load it yourself
- 20 Yard Dumpster (22′ L × 8′ W × 4′ H, 3 tons included): a whole-house cleanout outside city limits, done at your own pace
Compare all five containers on our dumpster sizes page, or call (352) 644-8330 and we will size it for you.
One flat price, quoted before we deliver, with the weight allowance and any overage rate stated up front.
- How is junk removal priced?By the load. We give you a firm price on site before we touch anything, and that is the price you pay. It covers the labor, the hauling and the disposal.
- Do you do junk removal inside Ocala city limits? No. The City of Ocala collects all solid waste inside city limits except construction and demolition debris and recyclables, so household junk there is the City’s; call Ocala Sanitation (residential 352-351-6697). Outside city limits, including Silver Springs Shores and Marion Oaks, we do.
- Can you do it today?Often, yes. Call in the morning and we can usually fit a junk-removal job in the same day.
- What about paint and household chemicals? They are not junk removal. Marion County residents who pay the County’s solid waste assessment can take household hazardous waste, batteries and medication to the County’s recycling centers; we will tell you where each item goes.
